This program is designed to teach you useful bag-making skills by starting you out with the basics and gradually adding new techniques as each month goes by. By the end of the four months you'll not only have a lot of useful projects to organize your home, work space, and car, but you'll have learned a wide variety of techniques to increase your sewing skill repertoire!

Each class will be offer twice a month - one morning and one evening. Join Kaitlin for all four classes to have to best experience! Since all classes work together to build your skills, it is highly recommended that you start from the beginning and take all four classes, especially if you are not a confident bag maker.

Month 1: Cosmetic Clutches - September 9th & September 19th

Quick and easy to make, these cosmetics clutches open wide for easy access to all your beauty supplies. Hidden magnetic snap closures allow the bags to quickly snap shut for storage. Slip these classy clutches in your suitcase— or use them to maximize the space on your vanity. Or make a few to have on hand for gifts. Who wouldn’t love a cute makeup bag?

Month 2: iCases - October 14th & 17th

Carry an iPad, iPad mini, Kindle, or other electronic gadget comfortably with these stylish clutch cases made in your favorite fabrics and colors. The Small Case is perfect to hold an iPad mini*, Kindle, or other e-reader. The Large Case handily holds an iPad* or similarly sized tablet.

Month 4: Zip It Up! - December 16th & 19th 

These packing cases offer the ultimate in organized, streamlined packing and are an essential for any traveler. In this class, you’ll learn to make a mesh “window” for visibility and ventilation of contents and discover more secrets for working with mesh. Continue to perfect your binding skills — this time everything is going to be visible on the outside of the case. You can do it! You've had lots of practice. Be prepared — your sewing skills are about to go to the next level!
