Love your shop. Saw the sign and became giddy. Your staff is the best. I came in with my husband and you gave us both a whole lot of love. I hope to make it back to the Atlanta area and visit you all in your new shop.

On our way to see our daughter in Atlanta, saw your sign and had to stop. Your store is great! Will be stopping now every time we visit in Atlanta or any other trip that takes us your way. Looking forward to seeing your new shop. Thanks to your staff too for their help. Enjoyed talking to you, will tell Sue at Sew Worth It I stopped by.

I was thrilled to see a sign for A Scarlet Thread on the interstate as I made my way back to ARK from visiting my USAF son's family in Warner/Robbins while he is deployed. My husband said this shop is another great reason to attend the races in Atlanta too. We will both be happy. Thanks and I really want to spend more time with you.

I have to tell you that visiting your store during the Atlanta Quilt Shop Hop was the highlight of my weekend. I have never had more fun shopping for fabrics, patterns and "stuff". Although it's quite a hike for me, I will surely be one of your new "regulars" at the store. Thanks so much for creating such a fun, energizing place to be.

All I can say is WOW! From the moment my friend Tammi and I walked in A Scarlet Thread we were hooked! Whatever you need in terms of sewing, quilting and embroidery- they have it! And the staff is SUPERB!! They are all so knowledgeable and helpful. We joined The Silver Thimble Quilt Club because we heard there would be an "expert" there when we would be sewing all day. We didn't have to buy the kit she was demonstrating, we could work on whatever. Well, that expert, Pat, was over the top!! She is so clever! She offers little tips and tricks with everything she does. And that's why we will drive over 6 hours to come back!!

Ok once again I have to give a shout out to A Scarlet Thread. Especially to Jamie. She was wonderful. I was about a half a yard short of fabric to finish the sashing strips for my sons quilt for a Wedding Gift. I called the store and explained to Jamie the fabric I needed and she helped my husband when he came in to pick it up for me. She also reminded him that I needed a new card as well. Thanks Jamie for your help. Thanks Karen for having such wonderful helpful people working for you.

My friend Inez and I really enjoyed our first visit to you lovely shop today, January 18, 2010. We were awed by the size of your shop and all the beautiful fabrics. I am sure you already know it, but you have a great bunch of ladies working for you. They were extremely friendly and helpful and made shopping that much more enjoyable. I hope to visit again real soon with my daughter, who is also a quilter, in tow. Blessings and Thanks to you and your staff.

Stopped in June 2009, lovely store. I asked about Babylock sewing feet and was foolish enough to pass them by. Just called and was delighted to know your store still had what I was looking for. Your phone service is as terriffic as you store service. Thank you and am looking forward to getting the pressor feet.

Love the store too. If I might make a suggestion, it would be helpful if the classes had a picture of the finished project. Being a bear of little brain, I forget which quilt is called what!

I just have to say once again. Karen and all the AST Diva's are the best. Strip Club OH MY GOSH!!! It's just as fun as Karen talks about in her news letters. If you have not been to one please come. You will not miss another. We do have so much fun. Oh yea and the bouncer Ken he is just as fun on these mornings. Getting up at 6:30 am to be there by 8:30 is so worth it the first Saturday of each month. Love you guys.

I wanted to learn to quilt so I prayed for a quilt shop close by. Well God answered my prayers and sent AST within 1 mile of my house. Not only did God answered my prayers for a quilt shop where I could learn to quilt, he sent Christians. Talk about a double bonus. Karen, Ken and the "girls" are fabulous!!

Thank you for adding those great classes by Debbie Coursey. I took Mariner's Compass and learned much more than I thought I would. She was amazing. She teaches how to make the quilt of course, but that is only the start. Debbie teaches how to make quilting quick and easy. She seems to have a shortcut for everything and makes it simple. I never thought I would like paper piecing, but I did. I have to admit it, I loved it. I learned so many new techniques, that I decided to take her next class, Scrambled Eggs. I took that class inspite of being afraid of not being able to handle making 1 inch squares. Well, I should have known better, I handled nothing small than a 3" x 5" rectangle of fabric. My class gave her 10 stars for her rating. Thank you Debbie. Please plan on me taking her next two courses, Storm at Sea and Blooming 9 Patch, next week. Save me space please.

I took the Scrambled Eggs quilting class yesterday taught by Debbie and learned great short cuts in making the quilt. I am a beginner quilter and I need all the help and short cuts I can get. Debbie is an excellant teacher and goes that extra step in making sure you understand the instructions. If you haven't taken this class you are really missing out on a fun class and a very nice quilt. I am taking another one of Debbie's classes in November called Blooming Nine Patch which will consist of some more of her short cuts. I can't wait. After class Debbie went beyond the call of duty and picked out fabric for my next quilt in her class. That's the kind of person she is.She is always willing to help. She is very personable and it was such a joy to take one of her classes. Don't be losers -- take some of Debbie's classes!!! AST has been my home away from home since I discovered them. I have become friends with all the ladies in the shop and we have a ball every time I go in. Just ask Karen!! I have taken classes taught by Mary and took a class with Jamie. We had so much fun. And if it wasn't for Wendy, I don't think I would still be learning to quilt. Keep up the good work, ladies, and I will be back soon.

Got back from the best BFF/Chick Trip ever, and love the purchases we made at your shop. Visited your wonderful shop, along with many others during our journey, and have to let you know that your beautiful store was by far our very favorite! All the way from Siesta Key Beach to our home- there was not one stop that compared to yours. We are trying to figure out how to make this an annual visit. Maybe you can help with overnight lodging?...lol...Your deals were great, your selection was great, it was classy beyond compare, yet very homey- you and your staff were the BEST! You are truly "one of a kind." Hoping to see you soon. Blessings to you and your wonderful family, and staff. Thanks for the memories!

I'm ADDICTED to your store. A friend introduced me to AST almost 2 years ago, BEFORE I learned to sew! I've had a sewing machine since May '09 and don't have enough time for all the projects I want to do because of the AWESOME fabrics you carry. LOVE IT, and the music you play, just makes me feel like I'm shopping at my church!!!

I just wanted to say that ever since I stepped foot in AST back in September of 2008 I have thoroughly enjoyed it. That is now my favorite quilt store. I have Joann's, Hancocks, Walmart, Red Hen Fabrics, Tiny Stitches and Little Quilts all within a 10 mile radius of me, I spend more time at AST because of the first time I walked in. That day everyone was so friendly and eager to help and everytime since then they have called me by first name. My first class was the Sew a thon in November and boy am I READY for another day of just sewing and socializing. That was the best 6 hours I had. The Strip Clubs now that's another fun group. Who would have thought that a bunch of women would be so much fun at 8:30 in the morning. I look forward to that every month. Karen is always so energentic and chipper and Wee Wee and all the ladies are all eager and chipper to help. Then there's Ken he is just as much fun as the ladies. He fits in well. Thanks for having such a fun shop. Everytime I talk about quilting I always talk about AST. Again thanks.

I bought my serger from you a year ago and have used in very little. I would love to learn ways to be more productive with it. I did not see a serger class listed and was wondering if you were going to offer one this summer. I hope you will because that will give the "Twisted Sisters" yet another reason to visit your wonderful shop. P.S. Karen we enjoyed having you visit our guild meeting. Cotton Boll Quilt Guild Everyone from the shop is welcome to visit anytime. And I don't think anyone would object to you bringing along some of you fantastic quilter's candy either. : > [aka fabric, fabric, fabric]
